The Eric Hoffer Award honors the memory of the great American philosopher Eric Hoffer by highlighting salient writing, as well as the independent spirit of small publishers. Since its inception, the Hoffer has become one of the largest international book awards for small, academic, and independent presses.

Dr. Nazari’s mindful focus has not only brought him praise from one international source however, but also from the Axiom Business Book Awards, earning him a bronze medal for Business Ethics. The Axiom Business Book Awards are intended to bring increased recognition to exemplary business books that inspire and help improve careers and businesses.

Enlightened Negotiation is the culmination of Dr. Nazari’s quest over three decades. The book is an interdisciplinary approach that draws insight from different schools of thoughts including integrative negotiation, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, neuroscience, behavioral science and embraces certain spiritual principles that are revealed by many wisdom traditions to transcend the myopic vision of scarcity and combativeness and tap into the innate desire of human spirit to abundance and collaboration. It is no wonder Dr. Nazari’s refreshing positive interaction based theory is certainly an eye catcher in a world filled with competition based business practices.
